Pros and Cons of SiteGiant

  • Powerful ERP features, which is great for merchants who are active on marketplaces like Shopee and Lazada.
  • Web store designs are dated
  • Layout builder is slow, with limited features

SiteGiant was launched more than 10 years ago in 2013 as an eCommerce solution for sellers in Malaysia. Now in 2024, SiteGiant has grown beyond web stores and now also provides ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Point-of-sales (POS) and Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) solutions. SiteGiant’s customers include Cosmoderm, Fazura and Momhood.

SiteGiant’s Plans: Webstore Mini, Basic and Pro

SiteGiant offers 3 plans for customers who want to build a web store on their platform:

  • Webstore Mini (RM105/month)
  • Webstore Basic (RM155/month)
  • Webstore Pro (RM175/month)

The pricing is based on a yearly plan. Merchants on any of SiteGiant’s plans will not be charged a transaction fee for sales made on their web store.

What’s the Difference Between Mini, Basic and Pro?

The Webstore Mini plan is the cheapest of the three, and the most restricted. You are limited to just 1,500 orders a month, 1,500 SKUs, 1 staff account and 1 warehouse location. On top of that, you only have access to the webstore sales channel, but not the social or marketplace channels.

The Webstore Basic plan is the middle plan, with double the number of orders and SKUs (3,000 each) compared to the Mini plan, as well as 3 staff accounts. However, just like the Mini plan, you still only get 1 warehouse location on this plan. What you do get are 4 sales channels which includes options like Shopee, Lazada, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Finally, the Webstore Pro plan is the most expensive plan, with double the number of orders and SKUs (6,000 each) compared to the Basic plan. On top of that, you’ll also have 5 staff accounts and access to 5 sales channels. This is also the only plan that lets you integrate with Shopify and WooCommerce. Just like the other 2 plans, you still have access to just 1 warehouse.
